Public Eye had a busy year...and you can see many of the fruits of our labor on the Food Network. In January, look for our Domino's Pizza "Super Bowl Sunday" episode to air on the "Unwrapped" show close to the day of The Big Game. And tune in for the "Unwrapped" Valentine's Day specials, in which you'll see our profile of the Boston-based "Cooking Couple," as well as a fun piece on the zany "Chocolate Body Paint." Public Eye is producing stories for the "Style" network: features on the history of the razor at Gillette, as well as the story of toothpaste at "Tom's of Maine." Tune in! You can still catch Mary on screen at selected Linens 'N Things! Public Eye produced a short infomercial - with Mary as host - for "Spill Guard" - the revolutionary new fabric that repels spills. Once a consumer reporter, always a consumer reporter - but hey, Spill Guard really works! Speaking of infomercials...Public Eye will launch a new, 30-minute national infomercial this spring profiling an exciting new product, with production starting in January. We'll let you know when to watch. |
If you're visiting Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, take a look at our upbeat video for young preoperative patients, "Going to the Hospital." The video is designed to ease their anxiety, and we hope it's doing the job. Good luck, kids! One of the projects we enjoyed most this year was our fundraising video for Amos House, entitled "More than a Meal." Amos House is truly an amazing place--turning out some 600 meals a day for the homeless and hungry, and providing a wide array of additional services--from clothing, to furniture and medical assistance, as well as a terrific culinary education program known as "ACE." Hats off to the Amos House crew--and best of luck raising money with our video! Speaking of which, Public Eye produced a pro bono video for the RI Salvation Army which helped raise several million dollars in funds to build a desperately needed new day care center for some 150 children. Ground has been broken, and construction is underway! Enjoy your new home, everyone. Public Eye is so happy to be part of it! | |
